Why I am Running for Chapter President
"How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!" Psalm 133:1 (NIV):
With over 34 years of dedicated service within our sorority, most recently serving as FWAC's 1st Vice President, I bring unparalleled expertise and insight to the role of president, ensuring continuity and effective leadership.
Throughout my tenure, I have consistently demonstrated my commitment to our sorority's values and objectives, leading numerous committees and initiatives, and serving in appointed and elected positions that have positively impacted our membership and community. Leveraging my extensive personal, professional, and Delta experience, including my pivotal role in Chapter leadership shaping the strategic focus of Cultivating Our Connections, I aim to introduce innovative strategies to unite and advance our chapter and service in Southern Prince Georges and Charles Counties. My vision is simple: to foster unity, drive growth, champion inclusivity, and uphold excellence in all our pursuits. As a seasoned servant leader, I am unwaveringly committed to every member's well-being and success. Under my leadership, each voice will be heard and valued, ensuring our sisterhood thrives. Let's prepare to launch and move out deliberately, boldly, courageously, and with love, humility, and empathy! Nichole Richmond Pinkney Let's Unite 2024 |
This is what God's word says about unity:
"And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity". Colossians 3:14 (NIV):
"Then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind". Philippians 2:2 (NIV):
"Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace" . Ephesians 4:3 (NIV)
|
"And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus". Philippians 4:7 (NIV)
My parents, my first examples of leadership, and my first loves.
